Nehemiah asked the Lord to bless him when he spoke to the king of Persia. Nehemiah’s desire was that the king would allow him to go to Jerusalem to repair the walls and to governor the people. Nehemiah knew without the intervention of the Lord, he could accomplish nothing.
The prayers of a man of action and not a sideline critic is what the Lord is looking for and what our world today needs!
