Sin Leads To Destruction
Hosea’s marriage was to be an example of the wayward people of Israel who had turned their back on God only to take up the worship of many false idols.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;
because you have rejected knowledge,
I reject you from being a priest to me.
And since you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.– Hosea 4:6 (ESV)
There is discipline for those who turn away from the Lord, but He will also restore us if we come back to Him and ask for forgiveness with a repentant heart!
