This series will explore the W questions about Jesus: Who, what, when, where, and why. I’m excited to tackle these questions, and I think the series will provide a refreshing new understanding for some and a review for others. How would we answer if we were asked “Who are you?” today? Our answer would likely be a summary of our lives, which might vary depending on who asked the question and where we were when it was asked. Our identity is multifaceted, and our answer would reflect that.
When we ask the question “Who is Jesus?” there are many different ways to describe him. It isn’t just one thing, just as our answer to the question “Who are you?” is more intricate and complicated than just one answer. As we start this series today, we are asking this simple question, Who is Jesus? And today I am asking you the same. Let’s dive into the first characteristic of who Jesus is.
