For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. This child would not only be a man, but the Son of God! The second person of the Trinity made flesh. He became the perfect sacrifice, to take on our punishment for sin so that we could be with Him forever. Praise the Lord!
